The Bogburn Classic at Rikert

New England skiers flocked to Pomfret, Vermont for many winters for a classic ski race that cites historical winners since 1986. The Haydock’s welcomed the community to their property, highlighting the love of classic skiing in a low-key, friendly environment. For nearly forty years the event persisted despite Mother natures whims.
In 2023 the torch was passed from the Haydock’s to the awesome folks at the Rikert Outdoor Center with the goal of preserving the nature of this race. And so the event goes on — and is a favorite for old school skiers and up and coming rippers alike.

Adult Race 13km, Juniors 6km, BKL race distances including Lollipop.
With advanced interest, on-site lodging is available to teams. We are also excited to bring more robust concessions to athletes, spectators and coaches. Aimes-tu la poutine?!
