Trail Conditions

February 08, 2023, 12:00 p.m.

Good Morning Everyone!

WEATHER: We have about 1″ of new snow dusting our tails this morning! It’s currently 36 degrees in the base area and we are expecting a high of 37. We will have cloudy skies early, then partly cloudy this afternoon. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.

GROOMING: We are 99% groomed at this time and the skiing is great! The dusting of snow last night is a nice addition to our natural trails this morning. Our first round of grooming this morning will include the Stadium, Battell, Bower, Picnic, Partridge, Thomas, Freeman, Gilmore, Crooked Brook, First Loop, Second Loop, Third Loop, Practice Loops, Brandy Brook, Upper Craigs and S-Turns. We groomed Frost Fields, Figure 8, Frost, Inner Frost and Mandy late morning. Holland, Mandy and parts of Frost are only flat groomed. All natural snow trails and ungroomed trails could have icy spots and should be skied with caution.

TRAILS: We will have equipment out on the entire trail system this week grooming and pushing piles from our snowmaking efforts, so please ski with caution and again, be aware of icy spots and possible hidden obstacles under the snow. We will be pushing piles on Viola White/Finish Hill tomorrow morning, so please be certain to use caution in this area as there will be piles of snow and working equipment present.

Please continue to respect our crew’s efforts and don’t walk (without snowshoes of course!) or bring your dogs on the snow. Thank you!
