New Grooming Alert & Afternoon Race Notice

We’re excited to share that Myhre’s Driveway was pushed out this morning! To allow the snow to dry fully, grooming of this new section is delayed until 9:00 AM. If you plan to ski First Loop this morning, please return the same way you did yesterday until grooming is complete.

We’ll also be freshening up the fields throughout the day as we enjoy a few new flakes gracing our trails.

Afternoon Race Notice:
We’re hosting the MUHS Solstice Sprint from 2:15 PM to 4:30 PM today. During this time, First Loop will be very busy or temporarily closed. Please plan to ski outside the race surface or spectate on foot from designated areas.

General Updates:

  • Snowmaking efforts have been very productive this season, and this past weekend’s push yielded excellent results.
  • Snow pinned down in the fields over the past week has become granular, and we continue capturing windblown snow to refresh natural surfaces.

Please be aware that some sections are fast and even a bit noisy underfoot. Stay alert and ready for a fun adventure!

See you on the trails!

We have skiing in the stadium and field today. 12/12

  • We’re thrilled to welcome you daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM for another fantastic season at Rikert!
  • Here’s the scoop:
We had a major rain event yesterday. The good news is the machine made snow in the Stadium and First Loop held up. We’ve also rolled a loop around the outer field, which has two wet spots that will freeze throughout the day. We had a beautiful start to winter over the last week and snowmaking will resume tonight on First Loop climb.
