Bogburn Classic

This will mark the 36th edition of the Bogburn Classic, an event steeped in celebrating the roots of cross country skiing — and the third running of the event in Ripton. Traditionally held in Pomfret, Vermont on a single track, the event needed some new legs due to climate change — Rikert’s robust snowmaking system, and the Frost Mountain Ski Club have stepped up to carry on the legacy of this event.

We survived the storm and are going to be able to put on a race — it will be very similar to last year’s course with a 1.5km loop.

UPDATED SCHEDULE:
Registration Opens – 8:30am
1st-4th Grade — 9:30am — 1.5 km (one lap)
5th-6th Grade — 9:45am — 3 km (two laps)
7th – 8th Grade Boys — 10:00am — 4.5 km (three laps)
Lollipop — 10:30am – 300m – Mass Start – Show and Go – No registration (stadium loop)
Junior Awards — 11:00am – Event Barn
Open — 1:00am — 9 km (six laps)
U16 — 1:30am — 6 km (four laps)
Open Awards — 2:30pm

REGISTRATION

Adults will race approximately 13km, U16 7km, BKL: 7-8th 4km, 5-6th 3km, 1-4th 2km and of course Lollipop!
