A new day. East Coast skiing at Rikert.

After our most productive snowmaking run to date this season last night, and preserved snow that survived the storm, we are psyched to have folks up to take in the scene at Rikert today. It’s brisk and there are traces almost all the common types of snow for your gliding pleasure.

Snow that was pinned down in the fields over the past week has become granular and we continue to capture windblown snow that is refreshing natural surfaces. We snuck in tracks where we could — the south side of the Practice fields are quick nice. You will find some fast, and even loud sections out there so be wary and ready for fun.

First loop will look a whole lot different at opening tomorrow and the crews will be firing up Myhre’s driveway tomorrow night.

The stadium had some leveling pushes early this morning and will get some finishing attention early tomorrow as well.
